Oil Pump Assembly features improved oil pump pres‑
sure regulation that will ensure correct oiling to all areas of Big
Twin engines. This pump kit includes all necessary fittings, snap
rings, keys, gaskets and mounting bolts. Can be used on either
chain drive or belt drive models.
Note: On 1970‑80 models a
drilling operation is required, use VT No. 16‑0986 drill fixture.
Available with breather gear kit. Oil pump kits with breather
include drive gear, breather gear and washers, uses S&S style
gaskets.

Note: S&S Oil Pumps are machined for two basic groups 1936‑72 and 1973‑91.
Installations on engines from 1936‑1969 and 1981‑91 are strictly bolt on and
require no modifications. Engines from 1970‑80 require a simple drilling step and
engines from 1970‑72 require a plugging step. Both steps can be performed while
the engine is still in the chassis. All 1973‑76 applications require 1977‑up diameter
pinion and cam gears.

Pro Just Adjustable Pressure Relief Cap allows
the precise adjustment of oil pressure by turning the
adjusting screw clockwise to increase oil pressure
or counterclockwise to reduce oil pressure. Comes
with a “super pump” spring provided in our spring kit
13‑9222. Works in stock 1981‑99 oil pumps as well
as S&S and other aftermarket oil pumps. Fits 1981‑
99 without oil vent.
