SiftonTM Big Twin Rod Complete Assembly features forged and machined H-Beam design of certified 4340 steel with multi staged heat treatment and are fitted with Torrington rollers with extruded alloy cages and a SiftonTM pin and matching nuts. Unfinished type requires honing of upper and lower bushings. Rods are 7.440” center to center and will accommodate up to 5” stroke.

Crank Pins available from Eastern, Jims and V-Twin. Pins are made of 8620 steel with .062 heat treated penetration. Also available are Eastern Super Type .120 heat treatment or Jim’s Cut Above Pin that has heat treating 60-62 RC to a case depth of .100, threads are “J” type, with nuts & key included. 45° oil location pins have better front cylinder cooling and lubrication. .025 shorter pins are .025 shorter taper to taper. O.S. Pins are oversize on bearing diameter. 180° oil location pins have more complete bearing lubrication.
